Long before it was a family home, La Bastide de Valescure was a working estate — orchards, vineyards, and the rhythms of the Provençal seasons. The stone walls, the ancient olives, the cypress borders: none of it was planted for effect. It grew here, across a century, before we arrived. We restored what was already extraordinary — and people still calls it, with affection, "La Ferme"
Feel at home
15 years ago, we began restoring La Bastide, not to make it new but to make it right
Every stone, every shutter, every tree that stayed was a decision made with patience. The result is a place that feels earned rather than designed: genuinely old, genuinely comfortable, genuinely ours.
When we open it to guests, we share something we love. Which is the only way we know how to do this properly.
